Giant Centipede — a 4.5m (L) custom animatronic built by HC Dinosaur for Science museums, insect zoos, haunted houses, nature trails.
Custom Build
Giant Centipede
This giant centipede animatronic coils across nearly five meters, its segmented amber body and yellow legs catching the light with unnerving realism. Every segment, antenna, and venomous forcipule is hand-sculpted from life-size reference, delivering an insect that looks scientifically accurate and dramatically imposing. Wave-like servo motion ripples through the body while legs move in synchronized strides; optional sensors make it rear up when guests approach. The sound package adds dry scuttling and a low, menacing rustle. A flexible internal skeleton and durable exterior segments let it ship flat and install along trails, in caves, or across exhibit walls. Science museums, insect zoos, haunted houses, and nature trails use it to showcase arthropod anatomy with a thrill factor kids love.

Common Questions About Giant Centipede
How are giant Giant Centipede figures mounted?
Depending on size, they can be floor-mounted on a pedestal, wall-mounted or ceiling-suspended. We engineer the frame and anchor points for your exact site, with a 4.5m (L) footprint.
Can the wings or body be lit for evening shows?
Yes — LED light packages can be added to wings, eyes and body panels, with static, breathing or chase lighting synchronized to sound and show triggers.
Are they safe around children?
Yes. Kids-zone builds use low-voltage drives, soft-edged construction and slow, gentle motion cycles. We also offer impact-rated skins and tamper-resistant access panels.
