Our life-size Leaellynasaura animatronic brings to life the small polar ornithopod from Australia, famous for its unusually large eyes adapted to long polar nights. The 2-meter body is covered in hand-painted silicone skin with realistic texture in soft brown and gray tones, and the oversized eyes are crafted with remarkable detail. Animated movements include mouth opening, head turning, neck flexing, stepping legs and tail sway, plus slow, deliberate blinking of those striking eyes and breathing simulation. The built-in speaker produces a soft, trilling call. Its fascinating polar adaptation story makes it a unique educational exhibit for museums and science centers.
